Lapsteel - Headless

What started as a conversation grew into concept with potential very quickly. Could a lapsteel work well with a Sustainiac system? The answer is ‘yes!’. And with any project for me, I want to make it headless, the Hipshot hardware lended itself very well to the requirements of a slide playing instrument. Crafted using flame maple cap and Canadian Maple for the main body, it is super resonant with as much as sustain as you require. With a modern 25.5” scale length, this Lapsteel is full of modern features to match the modern demands of live performances.
