Tamar Bass 5 - Front Landscape

Tamar Bass 5 - Multiscale

The Tamar bass is thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of modern touring bass players, offering versatile configurations to match any style. This example features passive electronics and a custom set of vintage-inspired hand-wound pickups with staggered pole pieces, perfectly aligned to match the multi-scale string spacing. The neck is constructed to withstand the demands of a touring musician, featuring a carbon-reinforced wenge neck and a comfortably shallow D profile. This design ensures stability in all environments, requiring minimal adjustments to keep it sounding great. This bass features a multiscale layout (34” – 36”) that maintains perfect string tension throughout its range but requires minimal effort to adapt from a fixed scale layout. Custom options for string layout, scale, electronics, and wood selection can be discussed at the time of order to tailor the instrument to meet any specific requirements.
